PICCHIO lamp by Isao Hosoe for Luxo

The Picchio lamp was designed in 1984 by the Japanese designer Isao Hosoe for the Italian lighting manufacturer Luxo. Entirely made of ABS plastic, this lamp showcases a playful experimentation in form and function, typical of Isao Hosoe’s designs. The head of the lamp hides a compact fluorescent bulb and can be pivoted in many directions to suit the needs of the user.

In great vintage condition with minimal surface wear. Identification at the bottom of the lamp.
