GALDINO floor lamp by Carlo Urbinati for Guzzini

A rare find on the North American market, the Galdino floor lamp was designed in 1971 by Carlo Urbinati for the famous Italian lighting manufacturer Guzzini. The central mast can be tilted sideways like a pendulum while the head can be rotated around the central mast to accommodate different lighting scenarios. The heavy base acts as a footswitch that can be pressed to turn the light on and off.

In great vintage condition with minor wear consistent with use and age.
