Making a clever use of telescopic radio antennas, the Sciopticon BZ 18 is an intriguing lamp that was designed in the 1980s by the dutch designer Hans Ansems for Luxo Italy. Displaying a quasi-infinite range of motion and orientation, the Sciopticon can be used as a task lamp in its retracted format or can be fully deployed into a floor lamp, following the needs of the user.
