BELUX system task lamp by Guillermo Capdevilla for B.LUX
Description
Additional information
This ingenious lamp was designed in 1981 by Guillermo Capdevilla for the spanish brand Belux, now known under the name of B.lux. This design was the first collaboration of the spanish company with an external designer. The clamp at the base of the lamp means that it can be attached to practically any flat surface; the rotating mechanical joints allow for maximum adjustability to fit the needs of the user and the task at hand. More than a lamp, the BELUX system is a constructive principle that was translated into a whole lighting collection and is still being used today in some of the newer B.lux products.
Great condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
