Coat rack by Metalplastica Lucchese

Strongly inspired by the coat rack design of Makio Hasuike for Gedy, this revised version was manufactured in Italy by Metalplastica Lucchese. More than a simple and soulless copy, the manufacturer of this coat rack improved a few details that make this piece even better, in my humble opinion, than the real thing: the base is made of metal instead of plastic which makes the whole thing a lot more sturdy and the four hooks at the top can be rotated independently in order to maximize the amount of clothes that can be hang. A replica, sure, but better.

Great condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
