A classic from the 1970s, the Sail chair by Dominic Michaelis takes cues from the imagery of sail boats. The leather seat, held in tension by the wooden frame of the chair, appears to be a mainsail floating in the wind. Designed for the Brazilian manufacturer Moveis Corazza, the Sail chair can be fully taken apart for ease of storage and shipping.
In good vintage condition, with minimal wear on the wood frame consistent with age and use.
