Hard to come by on the second hand market, this Kavat shelf unit was designed in 1989 by Louise Treschow and Tord Björklund for IKEA. The choice of materials, the assembly principle and the graphic nature of the ensemble bring to mind the famous “Guide” shelving unit by Niels Gammelgaard.
In great vintage condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use. No chip on the melamine shelves.
